This project was built to support the ongoing push to produce more interactive visualisation to support supplements and articles published by Springer Nature. This was one of many interactive chart templates built within a wider project aimed at building a set of different interactive responsive mobile-friendly charts, including a multi-line, column, bar, stacked column and stacked bar charts.

This interactive was built using MS CoPilot to ensure speed of delivery in time for a scheduled supplement publication.

It allows users to click through the individual successive levels from geo-region level through country level to institution level.

Alternatively, if the user knows the name of the institute they are most interested in, they may enter the name of it in the predictive text entry search box below the chart. On pressing enter, the chart will auto-transition through the individual levels to the target panel.
